| Without pinpointing players who have bad seasons and where we finished in the league has anyone got any positives and negatives from the season?
My main positive this year was the rise of Oliver Roberts. The year Bradford got relegated he had a massive season and then got a bad injury, looks like he could be one hell of a player in a couple more seasons of first team action.
Negative for me is the club still don't seem to want to throw youngsters in like Warrington/Wigan/St Helens do. When we was low on numbers why not try our own Darnell Mcintosh instead of Jamie Foster and Gene Ormsby? All the top clubs would of used their own players and develop them instead of loanees and could of used Sam Wood abit more after decent couple of showings.

as for youngsters we have played loads this year , too many at once too, one reason we have struggled this year.

| My biggest disappointment has been the reaction and subsequent treatment of the club, it's coaches and certain players by people who claimed to be 'supporters'.
Yes we've had a bad year but some of the stuff i've seen/heard/read this year has been disgusting and certainly not what i would have expected from people claiming to have the club's best interests at hearts.
A positive is how the club and the RL community pulled round after Ronan's death.....it made me feel so proud and still does. Ronan will be remembered permanently by this club and the people involved in it.

As opposed to those super supporters who have now effectively become mouthpieces for the club and issue the same banalities and pro club statements regardless of what the reality on the ground is.
The ones who sit back and accept any crap the club provides and respond to those who criticise with patronising comments about how all the woes of the club are caused by A/ Huddersfield people's apathy or B / it is the fault of the fans for not getting behind the club.
They are imbued with the same small club mentality which is prevalent within the club which means we cannot go forward and may even continue going backwards.
They are the same supporters who believe that criticising Anderson was tantamount to betrayal and go onto other forums criticising other teams fans players or managers.IF THESE SUPER SUPPORTERS STARTED BEING MORE, 'critical friends" of the club maybe some things would change for the better.Whilst the club can get away with isolating those who criticise and deflect blame in to the fans I doubt very much positive will happen to the Giants for a while.
Hopefully Stone can help change the culture. He certainly seems to have said some of the right things about the culture at the club so far.

| Too many negatives, from pre season to the end!
Positives, well the season is over, we have seen some good performances from the young lads, Leeming, Roberts and Sam Wood especially, we can move on now and hopefully a fresh start, with a new coach, new ideas and probably new players.
And hopefully a lot less negativity!

the negativity has already started! stone trying to reshape the squad and fans dont like it by looks of it may aswell just stick with what we have eh
roberts and sam wood yes positives, leeming needs to improve again, stalled a little for me but been behind wood and hinchy, may get chance to prove himself further under stone

| Positives for me are that we still have a Catalans away trip and I've spent more time drinking White Rat (to drown my sorrows)!

Not sure where you get that from every post I read suggests that posters support re shaping the squad.
Whether they trust Thewlis to do it right is a separate issue.

The only way he'll be behind wood is if he signs for another club, Leeds possibly if the LE is correct.
Maybe the biggest positive to come out of this year is the realisation that changes are needed to the playing squad.
