Worst season In a very long time, if not the worst I can remember,( 30 years) i say this based on the squad, owner and facilities we have at our disposal. very sad fan this year.

Didn't expect them wins for Salford & Leeds last night.

However win Sunday we move up to tenth.Plus if Catalans beat Wakefield today then St Helens finish 5th unless they are dedicated to making up a large points difference.

So possibly StH may not be quite as motivated.

The results last week went really badly for us with Leeds and Widnes winning. And us losing to HKR

Then Leeds winning along with Salford was bad.

Everything is going against us results wise atm

I don't know about the worst in 30 years, but it has certainly been sh***. We are now fighting for survival and if the worst happens ( God forbid ) it won't be because we had injuries at the seasons start, or because Leeds beat Wigan or Widnes got some players back at just the wrong time, We had some bad luck here or there. , or the ref was against us, or any of the other endless excuses that get trotted out . Every other team suffers just the same stuff we do.

We have a squad of full time well paid professional players, they are the one's who have got us where we are, Them and the fella that coached them, Yeah that's the one, The one who people on this board were saying he just needed time to turn things round, or if he doesn't win a game in the next three he needs to go, If he had won two would that have made him a good coach ?.

The time for excuses is gone, doesn't matter how many times we were wooden spoonists, or where we were in the second division, none of that is the slightest help to us, we either fight to survive or we go down the pan, With the squad we have we should be one of the favorites in the middle 8.. Sunday is as good a place as any to make a start. Oh hang on though, isn't Walsh back, unlucky.
