Maybe it's just me but I see the club going backwards very fast

Yeah I saw your post I agree with u a lot but can't see Davy throwing loads more money at the club n who's gonna wanna come to Huddersfield n play in a empty stadium

I've gone with the second option. There isn't much between the clubs in Super League at the moment. The salary cap is doing its job. Us and Leeds have gone from the top of the table to the bottom and then both beat Hull. Hull have flown up the league and Wakefield are having their best season for ages. A good coach with fresh ideas, enthusiasm and able to motivate will help massively. However if the finances are bad and we aren't able to spend the full cap then maybe we are in the first option.

Option 3 without a doubt.Likes of Ikahihifo,Symonds,Rapira,Hinchy plus the rest with a top coach in to get them organised,don't see too much of a problem tbh.

The club is going backward fast. You only have to skim the stats to see that. In 2013 we made 210 clean breaks. So far this year we have made 95. Even allowing for matches played that's a drop from nearly 8 per game to 4 and a half. You cannot win if you are not breaking the opponents line. Tackle busts have dropped from 847 to 452. Again a drop from 31 to 21 per game. It's not like this year is an exception it's been a constant decline. Pretty much every stat has dropped over the same period. That indicates a decline in the squad performances.

Ken Davy once defended not sacking Jon Sharp by saying you don't grow a tree by digging it up every year and looking at it's roots. Well once gangrene sets in you cut the infected part out and pour maggots in the wound. You don't leave it and hope it gets better.

It's time for some cutting and some maggots before the whole body dies.

I agree with this, but I feel a lot of it can be put right with the right coach ( hopefully Stone ) We are short of a couple of players in key positions but we have mostly got a side who can do a lot better than they have, You are right ,it has not just been this season, It's been deteriorating for the last 2 years at least, We have been underperforming badly, but try telling the "We are punching above our weight Fans".

Hopefully we can make a fresh start, Much is riding on this new coach. We do need a couple of players, but It's more about him than anything.

its not all about money its how you spend it and for me we have been poor for a number of years. a new coach who can keep us up then see where we go next year . cant see moor signings unless players leave .a lack of speed in the backs is an issue for me

The club certainly isn't going forward.
Maybe on the field it is (minus this season)
I'd like to see this season as a one off.

As far as attracting fans, Promoting our team, not hanging on to our young talent and missing out on playing in the World Cup series (out of choice) our club is at a total standstill.

We need fresh ideas fast.
