| Catalans have obviously worked out how to get the best out of him. Four tries tonight against St Helens!

| Good to see Jodie Broughton playing So well and scoring tries. Never got a run of games to show what he could do in two wasted years . Shame really, our loss along with Dawson who looks good for Saints.
Proves life after Giants, wish them well.

| Interesting subject this if one was looking at Andersons record of retained and released.
Broughton and Kopjack are having their best seasons for a long time, we never used Bailey as the ball handling loose forward he was and he was very good at London and whilst the jury's out on Mullalley he certainly like Bailey and Broughton was never given a proper chance at Huddersfield. Also letting Greg Brown go seems to have been ill advised too especially if it was the coach's call.
It does paint a picture that there may be a 'face fits' culture which if true would explain a lot of the 'unrest' culture that seems to exist.

A betting man would say the medication we may need at 10pm tonight would be 'hard liquor'

Change is as good as a rest as they say. Bailey was at the back end of his career then had to retire, didn't see a great deal in him towards the end. Koppy if you remember was great in his first season with us too, watch that space I'd say.
Broughton with his speed was a strange one but he wanted first team rugby and we couldn't promise that so allowed him to go. He would probably have got it this season looking at how things have gone but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Yeah if its a rugby ball cos from my view it's bounced the opposite way and Kopjack played really well last year

No, thats not what l said. To say we never used Bailey is complete nonsense he played plenty at loose. Theres an argument for Broughton certainly, there would be others who could rightly argue last year Murph and Jerry kept him out of the team, but if doesn't want to stay what can you do, chain him to the john smiths? Koppy was offered a bigger contract at Salford that we weren't prepared to match and he wasn't exactly tearing it up every week.
There are circumstances to the things which have happened, BUT it doesn't make me think everything the club has done is a good move either. But things are not black and white, if the Ferres situation had not happened or injuries and retirements, you wouldn't be mentioning Bailey, Broughton and Koppy I'm pretty sure of that.

I didn't mention them, you did. I was just commenting on your post. I do know what you are trying to say though and you are entitled to your opinion.
I find it very strange to bring arguably the fastest winger in the league to the club, and then either not play him, or don't use his speed, I dare say some games he never got a pass. He is showing now what we missed, but we don't play that type of game do we.
Do you read anything into the fact that D Brough was at Saints last night, they are one of the clubs that he has been linked with for next season. I know It's the wrong thread , just wondered what you thought.

| Why do people use the terms get rid of let them go- like the player isn't actually the one who makes the choice? I wondered how long the fact brough was at saints would take to be mentioned. Perhaps he was meeting up with his old pal Jodie. Perhaps- shock horror- he fancied watching a game of rugby!!!
