If Hull FC can beat St Helens at Langtree Park, so can the Giants. By my calculations of the way points scored today affect points difference, if (when!) Giants win next week, they go third!

Once again the stat we have not beaten any of the top 3 will come into play but hopefully Saints are dipping a bit and we can take advantage. Finishing 2nd or 3rd would be a real bonus and if we are going to do that winning there is a must.

They do not seem a happy camp at present and we need to start like we did at Wigan and not take our foot off the gas. However unlucky we were in the regular season game we never lead and we do not want to be playing catch up on a team who are off from and low on confidence but a 10 point lead or whatever might see them click back into gear.

Fair enough 4th is the target but we can go for higher or at least I hope we can but a win on Thursday is a must if that is to be a likely finishing spot.

Couldn't be a better time to play them. Give them a good kicking while they are down ( so to speak ) Keep Roby, Walmsley and Walsh in check and we have the beating of them.

Are we? I bought my tickets for this at the same time as I got my Wigan ones- they are for behind the sticks- happy to be seated though as long as we are all together- and don't forget to sneak in the cowbell seeing as the miserable guys at saints won't allow the drum and trumpet!!!!

Could be a huge game in our season, we need to try and encourage as many to get over there as possible to lift the boys....we're getting to the business end now and i am sure the player would like to raise their own standards !
