Over rated?

does not seem to be bringing much to the team for a while now not just the start of this season.

think teams have got wise to him and shut him out, so you need to adjust your game and he cant.

Certainly not. we know what he's capable of ....like anyone at the moment he's not on form and confidence is probably low as the things that were coming off before aren't. He's certainly not overrated !!

as an England international i expect more, he is just getting shut down, not seen a MOM performance for a long long time now

bateman outperformed him lastnight

about time he stepped up to the plate in the big games

Ferres and Cudjoe have been disappointing since they Got called up for England. Ferres looks slow and ponderous while Cudjoe is a shadow of the player he was. Why are so many off their game? coaching, game plan, something is missing.

Agree about him stepping up but at the moment though the whole team need to up their game as none of them are playing anywhere near their best ...bit harsh to pick Ferres out for criticism as its the whole team that's letting us down

Bit of a pointless thread really.

He's a good player but when things aren't working as a team very few individuals will stand out.

he's underperforming much like the rest of them, we know what he's capable of and he will come good again, same with cudjoe.

in 2 games only mullally,murphy and connor to me have performed well, the rest are capable of much more.

Why is it Harsh to point out Ferres has not performed since he got banned last season. He is vice captan and an International so should be able to take the flack.
Does not motivate those around him or shows any leadership. England place will be lost if he does not up his game and quickly.

Good. Worse thing that happens to our players is they get an England call up- seems to all go down hill- look at griffin

forgot to mention whitehead too when we played catalans, again ferres got overshadowed by him too

find it hard to say when ferres actually had a good game, the offload pass v wigan last season was the last glimpse

a few are saying 'we know what he is capable of' thats the problem, so do the opposition, coincidence now they have worked him out?

Team performance and our players getting frustrated is mainly down to our captains on field not stepping up and encouraging everybody with their attitude and the way they play. Ferres & Brough are great.. But in my opinion seem to lack that cool headed leadership that for example Brett Hodgson had.

The team is like a machine... Once a few cogs stop turning it can all go tits up.

That isn't a dig at the Wigan game as such. I enjoyed it and thought we played well. I thought the frustration hit us in the last 10 minutes and to me we looked like a team that looked like we wasn't confident of finishing them off.
I believe in our squad and our coach that they can turn things around. We have the tools.
