I believe that after a very inconsistant season we can and will still finish 2nd in the table, it is quite within our own capabilities of winning the last two games, giving us home advantage against Catalans

Final positions for me are

Saints will win and lose one, 40pts, top of the pile.

Huddersfield to win both games, 37pts.

Cas will win and lose one, 36pts.

Wigan will win and lose one, 35pts.

Warrington will win and lose one, 35pts.

Leeds will win and lose one 34pts. (although they can win both for me)

Catalans will win both games 29pts.

Widnes will win both games 29pts.

Thoughts?

Now we're not going to retain our title all I'm bothered about is going into the play offs with a fully fit squad and with some momentum and belief off of a win against Saints in our final game.

To me I see as many benefits to finishing 5th as there are to finishing 2nd (one of many issues with the current play off system) so our final position doesn't matter to me at all, all that matters now is going into the play offs in the best possible shape.

I can see us winning are remaining 2 games and finishing 2nd with results going our way. However if not I fancy 4th spot rather go to st Helens away and get a result then go to likes of Warrington Wigan or cas

Cas still in with a shout if they can put some points on wakey. Now how satisfying would it be to stick some points on saints and deny them the LLS on the last game of the season at the john smiths stadium!

Points Difference is irrelevant now. Cas can beat Wakey and the Dragons by 1 point each and Saints as long as Saints lose to us Cas will top the table. Saints were only 12 points difference ahead before last night. They will be about 15 behind them now.

Saints are still in front on points difference. Cas have to play Catalan away on the Saturday. What I meant was it would be nice to beat them with a few points and keep them in the dark about whether they have achieved it so it can't be awarded at our place!
