| Despite not firing on all cylinders this season we have pretty much stuck with the 'tried and chosen.'
Now one game away from the Saints cup tie there's talk of 'shuffle' people advocating dropping Brough for Sunday sounds verging on madness to me as in the Brown era that's exactly what we did and messed up big style.
Like it or not changes, injuries and suspensions excepted, should be minimal until after the Saints game as if we play as we did against Leeds or Wigan we have every chance of beating Saints but need our 'pivots' to be on song not changed!!!!
I for one will be very disappointed if after all his 'hard talk' Paul Anderson now panics because now is the time to 'shake up' his players and get them revved up for the next two matches not be panicked into changes after waiting so long.
I know we only drew with Leeds but we dominated them more than Saints last night and looked far more likely to score and crossed the line more times too !!
My one plea is to leave out Kyle Wood we do slow down and look ineffective against the better teams when he's on.
I would spell 'Lunty' with 'Robbo' as against Wire and Saints an extra proper forward off the bench could be the difference between winning and losing and Fuey is no worse as a spell dummy half but offers an extra spell as a forward which after what I saw last night to me is vital !!!

| So your puzzled why people want to change the team- then suggest leaving out wood and having a change in the creative area of our team. Wood offers more at 9 than fooey who's passing from the ruck was cited as being too slow by not long ago. Last week we looked better when wood was at hooker. Our best spells were the first and last part of the game.

| i wouldn't change much, yes getting lunt back is a big boost, but we won the league last year with a relatively unchanged team.
we should keep changes to a minimum, we know this is a good team we just havn't hit our straps yet.

| Wood is a very good player and I personally think he's done well during Lunt's absence. I'd only leave him out because I think Faiumu will be more effective against Wire.

| Why does Anderson have a young kid on the bench and refuse to use him i heard he did the same at Widnes with taai and bailey what's the point of leaving players on the bench for the last 10 mins the games usually gone by then its baffling me with his bench selection sometimes

| johnson looked lively last week, our pack were obliterated second half, crabtree and koppy had no effect, johnson could have given us a lift, thats the 2nd time this season we have left a man on the bench, seems crazy now but im sure there are reasons?

Somewhere in the dust of time rest the bones of the Galilean
He who was spat upon. He whose face was marred beyond all human likeness
Somewhere buried among the lies of the past rests the tomb of Yeshua
Of he who was made God in a world without Hope.
And when this son of Joseph is found. What then will the Church of Rome say?
Prepare yourself for the day is coming. And men will say
"Blessed are the wasted lives who perished in the flames of the holy war": |

| Probably he didn't want the young lad to pick up the "let's coast through the game and not put any effort in" vibe that too many of our players were giving off.

| Obviously Anderson has no confidence in his 17th man. Thinks Johnson not ready fortunately we have Mullally ready to step in and put pressure on our underperforming props. Good job we have not let him go and play SL somewhere
else and help keep our local rivals in the top flight.

| kopczak and crabtree have shown that they can mix it with the best but this year so far they seem to have lost some desire, heart and fight and need a massive kick up the backside!

Faiumu is no more a prop than Lee Gilmour was. He is a very good player but he will never be a prop. Now if he were a couple of inches taller and a stone and a half heavier then maybe

Problem is our out and out props are making very little in the way of damage, eorl and koppy are not causing the issues men of there size should be! Kafusi is having more of an impact but not playing big mins!
Power is a speed and weight thing! And Patrick, fuey although not out and out props are making more head way! Even when jerry and wardle come in they are making a much bigger impression than our big props!
Our pack should be able to match if not dominate other teams if you look at there physical stats on paper but things like taking the ball up at jogging pace will not get you anywhere! Anderson said josh Johnson had venom when carrying the ball so get him playing, being back mulally and put them to the test if our big men ain't doing it!

| Faiumu as has actually been our best prop this season!
like others have said, the big guys seem to be letting us down right now...getting beaten in the forwards is not what you would expect with the size we have but its happening...others teams see us as a real challenge and we are not coming upto the mark
at least in the 2nd half anyway!
