Can't argue with the result, I thought your forward's were immense tonight and if anything I thought the game should of been over point's wise by half-time.

From a Wigan point of view its a disappointing start but could be the wake up call that we need before Sydney.

i thought the score flattered wigan, we could and should have been 26-30 points up by the time they got their 2 tries!
i expected a tough game tonight but it didnt happen, i thought we dominated from start to finish and apart from their 2 tries they never really threatened.
saying that our defence was pretty solid for the most part.
i know people will rubbish our win as it didnt matter to wigan tonight, but some reports state it was a shock win, really?

well done tonight, totally destroyed the "champions" on their own turf (again).

Not a shock win at all and I did predict a Huddersfield win based on the amount of new additions we had playing tonight and the quality of a more settled Huddersfield side.

How is Patrick by the way? It looked pretty serious.

Good game last night and we deserved the win. We look like we could be in for another good season going off that performance. Look stronger in the forwards and going forward passed the ball out quickly and created quite a few try scoring chances. On another day we could've had a cricket score and that's saying something when we're playing a good Wigan side and current champions.

For those who think it was a no mark game and Wigan weren't bothered then why not go and talk to Wane and his players and see what they think of that. Wigan asked to play us the 1st game of the season as they believed that we were the best opposition to get them ready for the WCC so I can't see why they'd take it easier and rest players when they'd made a request to play us in the first place.

There's plenty of bitter fans out there who are jealous or maybe even envious of the Giants. It's nice to see though as it shows that other clubs are quite intimidated by us and concerned that we may finally win something of note (according to most LLS doesn't count) quite soon. We've got a lot going for us, Ken Davy, the best if not one of the best squads in the comp, a coach whose used to winning trophies who's surrounded himself with winners and a youth set up that's finally bringing players through who could play at the highest level. Not bad for a club who was playing 3rd division rugby in the 90's.

It's a great time to be a giants fan. COYG
