| Wonder if we will get the usual wire fans on here accusing us of being chokers next season.
Wire were by far the better side in the first half- but seemed to lose the plot when Monaghan went off.
Roll on next year!

| Gone off Warrington after watching em have a hissy fit after Hull hit em hard in the Cup Semi Final, same tonight after cheap shot from Westwood.
When Wigan hit em back they didn't like it and were whinging to Silverwood, they don't like it when teams get stuck into em.
Got what they deserved tonight and fitting that Green won man of match.

| Grade A I reckon and early guilty plea
Cheap shot Westwood, Wire lost the plot earlier than the Joel Monas injury, Ratchford penalties, knock ons etc. let Wigan dominate, and with the injuries, Wire lost the game as the old brigrade couldn't keep up with Wigan's young guns.

| Gone to the final tonight as a neutral obviously but must say massive credit to the Wigan fans, turned out in numbers and definitely made an atmosphere, totally outnumbered wire! Sam tomkins got the send off he deserves along with Mossop!

| Apart from 2009 which was the third saints -Leeds final in a row it was the lowest attendance since 2005. Not massively lower but lower nonetheless. (Good job we weren't there eh!)
I'm not having a go at wire and Wigan as their supporters clearly turned up-it's the neutrals who didn't bother. Could this be as it was an all Lancashire final? Possibly but the biggest crowd in recent years was saints Wigan. Surely the RFL must sit up and take notice and make some changes. Attendances are down across the sport - but viewing figures are increasing.......

Rubbish, it was the dream final the whole of RL has been waiting to see....EVERYONE wanted to see this , its impossible that there were any empty seats - surely your mistaken !!
SKY and Wigan/Wire fans have told us its the biggest game EVER in the history of RL so surely the neutrals would have been foolish to miss it, they can tell their grandkids they were there when the Rugby League family got their 'dream final'.

| judging by the attendances the play offs just dont really appeal as a separate competition.

| To be fair this final is one fpr the teams that get there and much less of an appeal for neutrals than the Challenge Cup.Final, Leeds or Saints making it might have pushed it to 70k but in World Cup year with alot of people having booked for Cardiff, OT and perhaps Wembley as well as other games I do not think the RFL should be too worried and if they can get good gates accross the tournament play off crowds will be small beer and with the format change in 2015 are pretty irrelevant anyway.
