| At this stage it is very difficult to tell
But you cannot have Connor down as starting full back after two games. Grix will still be ahead of him. Connot had a great game but also had the arvanatage that the opposition knew nothing about him so had not had chance to target his weknesses.
I expect him to play a few more games next year as his development continues.
Wood bofore Leeming
Taii, Lawrence or Faiumu before Fairbank who has done nothing to warrant a first 17 place.

| Don't think Connor is a starting full back yet... And if I'm honest jerry and murphy have to be starting wingers after the season theyve had!
Grix
Jerry
Leroy
Wardle
Murphy
Brough
Robbo
Koppy
Lunt
Eorl
Chan
Ferres
Bailey
Leeming
Taai
Patrick
Lawrence
IMO we need to bring a class hooker in and maybe 1 or 2 props

| I'm surprised people seem to think Broughton will not be in the starting line up. He is a very good winger, he played for the Salford but that doesn't mean hes not good. Having lived in manchester for a few years now and having gone to Salford Uni I have followed the Reds closely, considering them my second team as it were. Often going to some of their matches. I think you will find he could well make the impact that George first did but obviously be a lot better. He does possess genuine speed.

I don't think anyone doubts Broughton's ability, he is a player I have wanted to see play for the Giants for a long time. I think the problem is: How do you drop either Murphy or McGillvary when they've both been very consistent over the course of a season?
It will be interesting to see how Paul Anderson uses his squad next season.

| Hard to tell with it being so early... will be a few twists and turns yet id imagine.
If broughton is signed then im sure he will be a first choice pick. Think it will be at the expense of murphy on the wing. Mcgillvary can have dips in form though at times so who knows, anderson may have other ideas too on how he wants the team to shape up.
leeming? not really shown much in his two games to warrant a place in super league yet for me. Connor is ahead of him for breaking through and wood is also ahead of leeming.

| From the second half of the season IMHO I'd say Jerry may have been dropped at some point, if better covered was there. Jodie, Jerry and Murph if they all played their best games, Jodie would deffo be first on the team sheet.
Would like to see another hooker though, the gulf between Lunt and wood is too great on the change over. I did think though, whats the betting Robinson at hooker again, with Wood at SH? Robinson has played the last couple of games as good as I've seen him play at SH but still l think hes a better, more consistent and effective player at hooker.

| To be fair to Wood he has come in midway through a season and then had to play in some pretty intense games at the end of the year. With a full pre-season and the ability to familarise himself with our systems and his fellow players he may go much better next year.

Depending how woody goes in preseason i can see this sort of lineup happening, maybe with Bailey starting and can see Ta'ai being much improved next year also.

| I would like to see a few of our youngsters given a bit more game time next year.....maybe in the lesser games, players like Connor, Miller, Leeming, Blagbrough, Johnson, Mason etc...lets start developing these lads and not just throwing them in when we need them.

| Much as I agree with you Daz next year will be extremely important if the restructuring plans are pushed through by the RL.league position will be paramount and experimentation may not be possible.

Id like to see Koppy coming of the bench after 20 minutes with another big forward to make an impact, not too sure about loose forward yet! Maybe swap robbo and wood as I liked robbo at hooker but don't know how wood would do at 7, but think we need to make maybe 3 signings for next season! Would love LOD to return!

which are the lesser games?? they didnt get much time at batley which i thought was the plan. also we rested the team against bradford which in hindsight was the wrong decision, we werent ready for the wigan game and ultimately threw away the chance of a grand final which i said at the time and proved right.
like bilko says league position is important next year. (thought the league didnt matter nowadays ?!)
relegation is back too i think!

I think resting the team at Bradford was the right thing to do in the circumstances, ideally we would have played the first choice team and had seven days rest, four day turn around was ridiculous reward for lifting the LLS. Lets not forget the Bulls game cost us Ukuma for the Wigan match, given the dominance of thier six props to our three that was a significant blow imo.
