...really are a credit to this great game of ours. When we won the League Leaders Shield in 2011 you unfurled a flag saying "well done Wire". This evening you applauded the South Stand at the end of the game, when you must have felt gutted at the result. Thanks to each and every one of you.

Here here to that. I was in the West stand tonight (my mum thinks the south gets too busy, and we always lose when she sits down!), and the play-off game in 2011. You're the best set of away fans to stand with-get behind your team, don't seem to have t*ts like most other clubs, and sporting to the end.

I'd have been supporting you next week if you'd have got there; hope you'll return the favour now for us next week.

If that was Giant Daz and 'his gang' likr last time then seriously guys hatd off to you, love the banter befire the games on here but you're the only team I would never have the heart to stick the knife in after a game. Seriously without doubt the best fans in SL, I'm not even sure our fans would do what you guys do, so I include even the Wire fans and still think you're the classiest bunch of everyone.

I felt proud stood with the people I did last night. Backed the lads all the way through even at 14 points down.

At the end it was pure devestation but didn't stop us singing our heart's out.

Also well done to the folk I watched getting bullied by the meathead steward who I watched push a young girl out of the way and knock ale over people to get to a bloke who had an electric cigarette for not reacting and giving him what he wanted. He ended up looking very stupid.

Thank you, i was with them yes, just shows what great mutual respect our 2 sets of fans have for each other - the fact that 10 minutes earlier we had been swapping 'banter' and goading each other for both sets of fans to stand and applaud the other was brilliant.

I have lots of friends from Wire through the years now and for those people i will always want you to go on and win the competitions we can't.

Agree with my fellow Warrington posters. You guys do your club proud well done and rightly so you should be proud of how the Giants have progressed and to win the LLS.

As a Wire fan, of course I wanted my team to win but I would have been shouting for the Giants next week if you had made it.

Anyway I would just like to make a special mention to two Huddersfield ladies (pensioners) who unfortunately missed the whole game on Thursday due to one of them having a fall as they were approaching the ground.

I had the pleasure to meet them whilst I was in Warrington A&E last night, despite the result and having been in A&E since 8pm they were in good spirits. I left A&E with my Son just after 1am and the lady was still receiving treatment. I hope her and her friends had a safe trip back to Huddersfield and she makes a full recovery.
