Who was ref when Wardle belted Ablett and got 10 mins? Ablett is a wind up merchant and got what he deserved on both occasions!!! 1 player got mins in the bin and one didn't.

I thinks you could be right, how child can give him a verbal warning, and do nothing is beyond belief, we've seen clear punching in games as a red card all season and at least a match ban, and in some of the worst cases up to 3 matches (Griffin).

It makes a mockery of the refereeing standards, which is suppose to be consistent.

This ref was the one that sent Luke Robinson off at Catalan, which was proved a wrong decision.

Tbf it was a bit pathetic from briers not facing up to the man, whereas Wardle went toe to toe and put a few good shots in.
For me the fact briers didn't do it when squaring up is worse. But the situations were different as briers took exception to a high shot, ablett didn't retaliate towards Wardle and it didn't result in a brawl.
