| Well back to the top of the league we go with an easy win, salford never threatened at all.
Brough once again man of the match, though mcgillvary responded well to being dropped last time with a good performance and also murphy was brilliant.
crabtree only played 20mins, think he was rested rather that injured, hope so anyway!
taai 3 knock ons today, hes proving really inconsistent.
debut for young prop johnson who went well.
faiumu was brilliant sparking up the attack and playing out of position at prop ..yes he does play prop.
bit of a low intensity game which is not an ideal prep for the big game next week at wigan.
att 5300, whats the excuse this time? oh people didnt know about the offer, garbage they just arent interested... oh well the usual will keep turning up and enjoying what we are seeing
up the giants!

| Crabtree was most upset- remonstrating with Thorman by the dug out obviously wanting to go back on! Jerry made some great yards in the middle.
Fooey had his best game of the season for me.
Kyle wood - a very shrewd buy,(back) tackles well for a little guy!
Thought wardle had a good game, despite a couple of bad decisions not passing to smurph twice early on he made some great breaks and in defence he was very solid and particularly tenacious.

| We were guilty of trying score off each play as always. Staying composed would have got us 60 today IMO
Can't complain about mistakes from players too much, Ta'ai was taking the ball in very heavy traffic so it's very unsurprising he spilled it a couple of times - I think almost all our forwards put it down at some point today
Grix I though had a belting game, put the ball down a couple of times but so did a lot of others...but mostly he was simply excellent both running and passing.

Black Backgrounds/Statler.gif Run leroy , run !.... And he did - twice - and we partied hard...:Black Backgrounds/Statler.gif |

| Crabtree took a knock before he was interchanged.
Hopefully his absence was just a precaution .
Thought JJ looked a decent prop, and mason looked a big sized lad in the warm up.
Ferres strong again today.

thought crabtree took a knock too before he came off, if he was wanting to go back on then he must be ok though

| low intensity, yes, but we did what we had to do,although I thought we were guilty of overplaying at times but we got the job done and for once we didn't let them get a foothold in the game, to be fair I don't think Salford would have been capable.
thought jerry and murph were solid and fooey had a decent game, grix, well one minute he was all over the place the next minute he was brilliant, very frustrating but some poor errors near our line that thankfully didn't cost us.
thought kyle wood looked very good too, always buzzing around and got stuck in well defensively.brough was sublime as always.
a good win but next week is a truly massive massive game.
bring it on!

| Training session in reality, so not much will have been taken out of the tanks - Salford were very poor, we were average and never really needed to get out of 2nd gear.
Murphy gets better and better with every game, he was awesome today again....As for Eorl, we didnt need him so no point risking him and i thought Josh Johnson looked very comfortable on debut, even though it was low intensity he would have still been nervous.
Thought Fuey had his best game for a while and Grix actually looked quite threatening in open play more than usual - thankfully his brainfarts didnt effect anything this week.

| i don't think that today's easy win will do you much good in regards to your preparation for next weeks big game against wigan

i hope that the giants win next weekend danril
my only concern regarding today's touch and pass game against salford is that it may leave you a bit short of the big game intensity that will be required to win next weekend, i believe that wigan will lift the intensity a level or 2,i hope that the giants can match it

| 2 points in the bag, no injuries, Broughy looks awesome again.
Sets it up for the next 2 point game on Friday, don't worry about needing high intensity games, until the knockouts, and we're going to have 2 bites at that cherry no matter what happens.

| Too easy nothing more than a training run and felt like a pre season friendly. Purtill commented on Radio Leeds that HE AND THE PLAYERS thought they should be playing in front of more speccies as we are top of the league (don't we all).
How bad were Salford worst I've seen down there this season. Funniest thing I thought was when they made a break in the second half their player with the line in front of him went on a maisy run in and out when it would have been easier to run straight forward for the line. bizarre.
Going back to the crowd I asked one of my regular customers (half time draw seller) if he was going to Wigan? The response was 'No can't be bothered'!! seriously!!. Maybe this is true representation of the apathy in Huddersfield.
The thing is players don't want to play in front of handful of fans.
Really poor some attitudes when we are top of the league.

Very honest interview and no beating around the bush or cliches which was good to hear.
Another thing has anyone changed their mind about Gaskell being the best thing since sliced bread????
