| its hard to see so many teams dropping off numbers wise. The sport as a whole is only there for the fans. No fans no sport, howerver i now see it as no sky money no sport as the fans are just not turning up!
We have one hell of a sport, one of the most competitive leagues in a good long while and yet people are not coming to watch the specticle!
10000 needs to be the bench mark for every club as an ok attendance. but in honesty crowds need to be in the 15000 plus to get the game to really start to flurish!

No, Hull have gone up by 7 spectators per match.
When looking at the averages it should also be borne in mind that some clubs announce actual attendences and others a figure that includes non attendees who may have either a season ticket or been given a freebie. We also suffer badly when asked to play home matches on Friday and Monday evenings, playing the Saints game on a monday for example probably knocked 2,000 off the gate, which in itself knocks 200 off the average.
Our crowds are not great, but they are similar to a number of other clubs. Given the drastic fall in season tickets (principally due to Nathan Brown's shenanigans imo)and off putting walk up prices, there are a couple of easy things to do for next season to get back to where we were. The real challenge will be how to get from a 7,500-8,000 average up to 10,000.

| We have had too many false dawns! Its the little bits that have kept the majority from full believing in the boys. The first win at headingly in 50 odd years great away following and the next game salford away.....highest number of away tickets purchased from the ticket office....and we lost, those fans left feeling deflated.
The nathan brown issue, going, house burn down staying, going to nrl, nope going to stay, going to oz only, nope saints bound, then started siging blood players for them ie manu while we fell in a bloody heap!
We go from world beater last year to losing against everyone. then the slightest hope last league game we destroy leeds....surely a playoff run can it be...no!
So after a really cheap year at £100 and the two previous at £170 and a really really bad end to the season we double the price with already frustrated fans....lower gates! No suprise
We finish strong and build on it next year the numbers will come maybe not in there droves but a rise must happen

| big drops at saints and bradford.
but not looking good for RL as a whole really.
salford and wakefield left for us now to play at home are they going to attract over 6251 to boost the average abit? maybe the wakefield one will but not by much.

| Salford (40%), Bradford (25%), Saints (22%) and London (21%) have all lost a greater proportion of crowds than we have (19%) and our lost numbers are pretty concerning. Could be misleading though, a lot of Bradford's previous numbers were not actually in the ground!!? I wonder what the true loss there is and are they actually taking in more through higher prices?
It is not good at all, Wigan and Catalans both also have significant drops (10 & 12%)

| Do you mean Gideon? He does like to pretend to be called George though, helps him feel more in touch with the common man.

| IMO super league itself is getting less competitive and going down the pan! Lets hope this "new structure" will change that.

| Yeah, makes him seem more "street" to his Eton pals
If you think Superleague is getting less competitive your need your head examining

Wakefield have played 10 at home now with 1031 against Leeds on Friday if thats not calculated in the above then Wakefields crowds are still on a par with 3 fairly good games to pack the fans in Sts Bulls and Cas

| Leeds averaged over 17k for 3 seasons from 2007 until the demise of Bradford.I notice they have had about 3 attendances over 17k this year so this has lifted them back over 15000.Wigan since Leneghan took over had those bring a friend schemes and "the big one"games.I wonder if they have ceased doing this now? and if so is this the reason for the drop?
