Just watched Widdop playing for Melbourne Storm against South Sydney, what a star he is. I have watched him in all 5 rounds so far in the NRL and he has not had a bad game, he is consistently good.
If McNamara does not pick him at 6 he wants his head looking at. He wants to be linked with either Myler, Burrow or Brough for the half back pairing, and Both George Burgess and Luke Burgess as props along with Crabtree and whoever for prop rotation. Then we should have a good chance in the world cup.
These Burgess brothers are running riot in the NRL.

Luke burgess is long term injured and not that great anyway do you mean Sam.
Also Burrow plays hooker for Leeds so should not be considered as scrum half for England interchange hooker for Roby maybe.

Should be Brough and Widdop in the halves IMO, but we all know full well it's going to be Sinfield and Widdop.

It's George Burgess who is ripping in for Souths as well as Sam who is as good a forward as any in Australia. Widdop is a class player and highly thought of in Oz. he is a must for England at 6!

If Rangi Chase goes back to OZ, I doubt he would be eligible, as I believe he only qualified on residency, and if he goes back to OZ he would not be a resident of the UK. And I don`t believe he is a British National.
