So plead guilty and have a ban or plead not guilty and risk two.

He needs a rest so hopefully he can get one now.

The club will review it and make a decision as to whether to take egp. Thing is eorls not a dirty player so pleading guilty if he isn't will stick in the throat a bit!

I say forget the early guilty plea!

I can't remember.seeing the incident. When the club review it if it looks a bad one go for the early guilty plea if not the forget it and go on the fact eorl hasn't been called up in......well a hell of a long time.
If he gets a ban it gives him a good rest for which he deserves as he has been ripping it up week in week out and the other props Koppy, fielden , mullay, Patrick have all been given rest days so give the big man a rest.

it was a bad throw but we know eorl isnt a dirty player and the salford player retaliated on the floor and eorl was basically hugging him and saying sorry!

early guilty plea? maybe they will do that as it so often happens... but with eorl having such a good record it may be worth going against them... will see what the club does

He's taken the early plea and will be banned for the Castleford game.

shame - he's been back to his awesome best this year too. plenty of cover though and the others have been doing ok too.

IMHO not a bad thing. He has been doing big minutes and needs a rest. Bringing fresh players in for the 3rd game in 9 days will be a real boost to the team.

I wouldnt have been surprised to see him rested this weekend anyway. At least, by being banned, we don't have the ability to blame Baloos tactical selection if we struggle.

Maybe taai will get a run out- have him running at chase for the first 15 minutes!

Frankly I didn't think it was a bad challenge. The Salford player couldn't decide whether to play the ball or play on,so Eorl just decked him and removed all doubt.

The disciplinary may have done us a couple of favours though.

Carney is banned from the Cas game and Travis Burns will be missing from HKR
