Andrew Hardcastle's biography of former Halifax and Huddersfield player Jamie Bloem has now been published. In it, Jamie lifts the lid on everything that has happened to him, giving a frank account of when he was in the wrong and when he was not.
He was never far from the headlines, be it for drug taking, an accusation of biting Lee Briers, charges of abusing referees, declining pay cuts, or even sometimes for scoring spectacular tries or kicking touchline goals.
On Saturday April 6th from 11 onwards Jamie will be in Waterstones Kingsgate Centre signing copies of the biography which is titled "In Full Bloem".
By that time Chris Roberts may well have written a review in the Examiner too.

On the contrary, in the book he says lots of good thing about Huddersfield. He enjoyed his time there, and rated Tony Smith as a top-class coach. He has many friends among those he played alongside, two of them (Steve McNamara and Eorl Crabtree), being main speakers at his book launch. He rates the fans highly too - some of them are quoted in the book. Some good Huddersfield stories in there.

Tbf he's the kind of person that often doesn't have a good word to say about anybody! He doesn't seem to have favourites and He certainly doesn't mince his words.
