We played London a side that was supposed to replace us in the top 8 by the opinion of many pundits and other fans and beat them

We played 3 of the 'top four' Wigan, Leeds, saints and beat them

We got hammered by Bradford and in 5 days manage to turn it around to beat the champions.

Don't win anything in march but come on. Back the boys from start to finish because its what they deserve.

Last night was a massive psychological boost for the Giants in my opinion. A loss last night would have planted a seed in the players and fans heads that we were going to do what happened for the last few seasons. Last night proved that after a poor performance that we can bounce back.

So can we start to feel a tad more confident?

Macnamara wants his head seeing to if he doesnt put brough in the squad after last night- and he was there.
Last night the lads lined up at our end for the kick in the first half and they will have heard the encouragement we gave them- and I bet that helped massively. Leroys mum was on our coach, she rang him on the way home and he asked her to pass on the message to say thanks for chanting his name and giving such vocal support - it DOES make a difference.

Rumour has it that McNamara was one of those leaving just after half time so that he wouldn't have to justify leaving Broughy out!

hull fc up next then on sky saturday night.....sky havent fancied us much have they...bet they are kicking themselves!

will be a tough game, hull not really made the start many had expected but a big win lastnight will of given them a boost but not as much as a boost as we got!

Really interesting game. If we have holdsworth playing it should enable us to be in the game going in to the last quarter. Brough for England! We need a kicking game to have a chance against the Aussies.

if both teams bring their "A" games on saturday then it should be a cracker,we can both be brilliant on our day and brutal too,lets hope we just keep doing the right things well and let the rest take care of itself.

Off topic but Did anyone watch the saints vs Wire match on sky, now I'm well known for thinking sky/RFL/refs/everyone has a bias against us but did anyone notice the results kept flashing up at the bottom apart from the Giants which was only on once or twice, wasn't me that noticed a mate who doesn't support any team but knew I was at the game was watching it and knew I was at Leeds and was wondering how we were doing, had to keep texting him. Any idea theory on this?

Did you also notice that on SL Extra time they only showed highlights of the Giants?

If that's the one on red button didnt see it cos taped match and can never fathom taping the red button stuff.

Seems strange though as normally make a big deal of league leaders are winning at .....said ground/team but didnt really mention or show score.

Maybe McBanana asked so wouldn't look as big a mug when they showed Danny Brough who cant get in England team running the game against the current England Stand Off who was non existent at best.

Sinfield is good at leading Leeds. He's a great captain and performs well in his comfort zone. The fact he has been so loyal to Leeds is his downfall internationally - he has never performed in the England side- he doesn't have the experience of playing alongside different players. If Leeds ever decide he's too long in the tooth and he moves on before retirement he will do nothing in his new team- would he have the guts?
