Been accused on this forum of being negative on this board when I posted critical comments over decisions made last year
So well done to Paul Anderson and the players for a great start in my view with odonell going we need to bring in a half back if we can find the right quality as we are thin if Robbo or brough gets injured and grix is not the answer . LOD is a top player but we got some good young forwards and he is always injured for the money he will be on
Crowd wise I was hoping for 6k yesterday lets hope for a good day and another 1000 from us at least on sunday

Nice to hear anybody being positive as as fans we should all try to look on.the bright side of things because if our hobby (being the brilliant giants fans we are ) starts getting us down in the dumps its a pretty bad do, we have the government and work to bring us down so let's keep the positives up for our hobbies ehhh?

Problems with getting a decent half back is finding one tried signing up three in the off season and it came to nothing! Perhaps look at our under 19s whos playing in the halves their?

Yeah I was looking for 6000.but this will be our lowest league attendance for the year so nice to know 5000 have stuck with us after last years fall from grace and perhaps the Wigan game will pull a a few more through the gates

Think we just have to sit and hope on the half back situation and if the worst comes to the worst sort out a loan move for someone out of favour at a SL club, not ideal but I guess just the way it has to be....fingers crossed it does not come back to bite us at a latter stage.

Was pretty flat yesterday, the ref let London lay on and they were offside a lot of the match to boot which made for a skinny 10. But we should have been smarter, Leroys decision making was poor and its a shame Fooey went off, as it was the kind of game his side step would create a few breaks. I think it was the fact that they were within a shout for so long in the game (in their heads anyway) that London kept going. A couple more tries and they would have folded. Another day and we would have had 50-60 at a canter.

Ferres looks good most games hes been a terrific buy. And the try scored by Koppy and made by Eorl I liked a lot, last season that wouldn't have been scored, as Eorl would have been on his own. It could easily in the past have been 24-12 that game, we were very average at best and we were always in control. Lets see what we are like with a bit of pressure on us next week, can't wait.

I thought the +5k was good, you've got to think about the amount of walk ups we've lost due to last seasons slump, and the few who didn't renew. When the sun comes out and we are still there then they'll come back.

I think Anderson will have passed on a few home truths and doing it after a big win has to be better than say after Salford (in Manchester) or Widnes last season and hopefully standards have been raised and the coaching staff will stay on peoples backs and not let them get carried away but they are doing it from a position of strength and with (it seems) a great team spirit and everyone working hard for one another and as said adding new dimensions to our game and scoring tries we probably would not have done last season and if this is a work in progress the end result could be very exciting indeed.
