No new roles really. Anderson and purtil have worked together before and should work well together. As for thorman not sure what coaching role he has I actually remember him saying in the examiner he wasn't sure exactly what role he was taking at the time, just that he was happy to be coming here

No, why should it be - 3 young talented upcoming coaches who have learned form some of the best .....i'm happy with them, just hope come May next year i can still say the same.

Thorman i believe is a very clever person and will add a lot to the team from a rugby point of view. Purtill as i understand it is the assistant who is quite cerebral who does the analysing the stats, working out oppo strengths and weaknesses etc.

allied to Baloo i feel they are likely to complement each other.

A quick look at the respective websites shows that Wigan have 17 members of their coaching staff, we have 6. Even with Thorman that makes 7. That suggests to me we are probably undermanned rather than over manned.

How much would that cost the club? Better spending more on a better player if they were available.

No idea. I'm not suggesting we sign more coaches just because Wigan has more, simply pointing out that we certainly aren't over-staffed with coaches.
