If Wire have sold a lot more tickets than the Giants why shouldn't Andy Gatcliffe 'boast' about it? He's praising our fans for their support - good for fan/club relations, I'd say.

Also, with only six weeks to go to the final, wouldn't you start sounding out sponsors' interest in packages? Nothing to 'eat words' over here, just good business sense. One of the reasons that Wire are making a profit these days.

And why shouldn't we use that as an incentive...

It's a fantastic achievement, and they should make big of it, our support is pants, but then it's not about how many fans we have or they have, it's about the players on the pitch.......oh!
