Having been to Odsal many times when there was genuinly 11,000 people there I can definately state that yesterday there may have been 6 or 7,000 but 11,000 absolutely no way.

I presume the Bulls have assummed that all their Season ticket holders attended and included them in the figures. If so Giants should do that - doesn't it help on the Franchise criteria.

Given that there were 700 -1000 Giants fans I would say it was an appalling attendance from fans who keep coming round with the begging bowl.

You're right mate there was absolutely no way there was 11K+ there yesterday. I would guess 7K tops. And that's being generous.

yes they do include all season ticket holders i think.
not sure if we do that too but i know Town's crowdS are given on tickets issued rather than actual attendance.

It is difficult to judge how many were there in that huge Crater, I suspect more than the 7,000 people have suggested, my own guess was about 8,000, but it was little more than a guess. The seats were probably half full so 2,500 there, 5,000 on the opposite side and 500 behind the sticks?

I was stood behind the sticks and from there could see at full time as the side terrace cleared that there were a lot of Giants fans there. There were no reasonable grounds for bagging yesterdays travelling support.

Some clown at the match was saying we should be ashamed of ourselves bringing only 400 to the game. He was shot down by a few Giants fans next to him as he walked down the steps on the main terrace. Apparently 'Fartown Fartown' is a gay chant too!

Great to stand on that terrace as the bitter bulls fans filed out unable to believe that we were the Better team how sweet was the ovation our boys got after all the years of struggle. Another day to be proud to be claret and gold

Not forgetting the obligatory 'where were you when you were poop' histrionics coming out of the ground from women who didn't know the sport existed until 2000, actually i thought it was a good turnout considering the weather, certainly a lot of giants there judging by the cheers from the very top after the first try

Theres Nowt like a Bitter Bull. One said to me in a snarl "you're just a joke club" to which I replied "so much so your famous son Robbie Paul works for the Giants" I swear his pupils turned red with the rage.
