A ban would have been fully justified IMHO. No room for that kind of behaviour. The game is hard enough without what looked to me to be deliberate intent to injure.

I would say a 1 game ban, it was poor technique but he should take more care as it could have been quite a nasty injury.

Mind you if he was a certain prop forward for a certain West Yorkshire team, poor technique is excuse enough to escape a ban on more than 1 occasion

Agree with previous all posters (when did we all agree on something last ?)
Think ganson actually helped us here by using the sin bin well and properly .
Also the way chan and giants did not react badly to his decision probably helped committee come to the conclusion that justice was already done, and more importantly, been seen to be done.

He is a very lucky boy. I was quite close to it and it looked a shocking tackle.

Lucky not to get 1 match ban imo. The binning probably saved him that fate as rlr has mentioned.

yes i think the sin binning helped regards not getting a ban...not sure on his previous infringements as they come into play too

Glad no ban - previous record good as far as I know - and not a dirty player - tackle technique poor on this occasion but not any malicious intent to cause injury as far as I could see.

Good to see him take the sin bin punishment without complaint - think he realised what he did was poor technique and accepted it as fair do's.

Really impressed with him TBF - and a great example where limited numbers of overseas players in your squad - of high quality only - adds to the competition and our team. Bet he is a good trainer and mentor to the younger guys!!!
