| You kidding. Clucking bell! Out for 10 games, I think we are in big trouble before season starts. FFS in my view. We are short up front & this is an error by Brownie. Worried fan!

Black Backgrounds/Statler.gif Run leroy , run !.... And he did - twice - and we partied hard...:Black Backgrounds/Statler.gif |

| Thanks for the update - and stating the obvious we are weak in strength and muscle for the season start, but I'm consoling myself that the lesson learned last season by both ourselves and leeds is that the end of the season is much more relevant than the start of it.
That said with so many new fans and our cynical section of fans, I hope we dong get steam rolled by less skillful but bigger packs teams in the first couple of months.
Does anyone have an idea of the overall injury situation as to what our probable first team will look like for games 1 and 2 ?
Please.

| Really concerned about the start to the season with our forward availability. We will have no chance this season if we don`t win a good number of the first 10 games. I think we will struggle.

| Last year we got out of the blocks fast but faded to the end. Other clubs started more slowly. This season we will be getting back key influential players nice and fresh at just the time we had the first blip against crus at Easter.

i agree its not how you start its how you finish!! last year taught us that big time
but like you say if we get steam rolled morale could start to drop and who know people may be calling for nathan browns head..... bring in anderson early and let hime go, i can see this happening

I wasn't at Wigan, but other than a slow start I didn't see a struggle at Cas, I saw a couple of poor tackles (in a first hit out) and some good opportunism by Cas at the end when we had a lot of youngster on and the few remaining senior players shuffled about.
The first game against Wigan we will be light, we then get Tonks available so we will not be that light. I also believe we have and England international stand off an England Knights Centre and an Irish sounding Wakey cast off who are not named in the above team.
From round two I would like to see us go with:
Murphy/Grix
Jerry
Leroy
Lawrence
George
Brown
Brough
Eorl
Lunt
Tonks
Chan
Gilmour
Fiaumu
Robbo
Walker
Ferguson
Fairbank
Which leaves Johnson, Molloy, Wardle, Murphy/Grix available to step in plus talk of a loan signing in Ambler, or has that gone cold now?
Of course I would rather O'Donnell, Fa'alogo and Mason were available, but if the team above cannot win 5 or 6 of the first 10 then Nathan Brown should be hounded out early

they were poor v wigan, when wigan had leuluai, hock and oloughlin on in the first 20 mins they were well on top...lets hope its not the same for round 1 !
id go with that team too as the best we have for the mo till we get some bodies back
