no sure reaction has been a bit mixed. i am fairly happy though. All our key players are on long time contacts. out of the released players only Griffin and possibly Hodgson would have been in a first choice 17. So really we are replacing are fringe players who were not really good enough with more fringe players who can either go the same way or kick on and forece their way into the side.
Of the new players i think only Jason Chan is nailed on for a place in a full strength side the rest wil have to prove themselves.

Agree with you, im fairly happy, think george is nailed on for the wing spot too?

i really fail to see how some people think we are weaker than last year. I have a really good feeling about next year. think the first few games we will line up like
1. Scott Grix/Greg Eden
2. Jermaine McGilvarry
3. Leroy Cudjoe
4. Joe Wardle
5. Luke George
6. Tommy Lee/Scott Grix
7. Danny Brough
8. Eorl Crabtree
9. Shaun Lunt
10. Keith Mason
11. Jason Chan
12. David Faiumu
13. Kevin Brown
14. Luke Robinson
15. Larne Patrick
16. Adam Walker
17. Lee Gilmour/Dale Ferguson
Then we still have say Michael Lawrence, Lee Gilmour/Dale Ferguson, Jacob Fairbank, Jon Molloy aswell as Aaron Murphy, Tony Tonks, David Faalogo and Luke O Donnell to add back to the squad once injuries and bans have been resolved.
I think we are alot stronger...

Really not sure about George on the wing. Of all the signings i think he has most to prove. He has an appalling injury record and when he has played he has not struck me as anything better than average. Ok he has decent pace but his defence will need to improve greatly

thought defense was one of his strong points.... made tackle after tackle when ive seen him play against us |
