Quins average less than 2500 a game, they have not competed in the super league to any real effect,
yes they do have fantastic youth development down there but this should be transfering at some point to more affliation in the game, TV viewing figures Support for Quins and Scholars even the formation of another club.
I have to say unfortunatly it's good bye to wakefield with no chance for Halifax who are IMO the strongest contenders
Unfortunatly Widnes will turn into a Crusaders / Salford a club of cast offs that have no where else to go. If they can get work visas that is

| London have done a lot to get the game played down there and there are thousands of kids playing Rugby League as a result. It's the fastest growing area in the country in terms of getting youngsters into Rugby League and there are now Southern kids breaking through into rep sides at youth level. Like it or not, if Rugby League is going to grow and command the kind of attention we feel it deserves then the sport needs to have a strong presence in London and the South. No point b*tching about it.

| If the game hadn't expanded to London there probably would not have been an Oxford Cavaliers resulting in no Griffin brothers playing RL.

| to be fair there will always be a London based side in Super League regardless of how it performs on or off the field, the media demand a club in the capital.
as for the youth development, they have done well but dont have to share the local pool of talent with umpteen other clubs like Northern clubs do !
I've no problem with the Harlequins RL club btw before people say i have an agenda against them.

true i agree, but theres also the point that rl has been around a long time and teams like halifax have been there from the start and sl brings in a team from wales that to the best ov my knolage have onley been established 6 ish years atleast thats what i was told, in my opinion you dont build a house on week foundations.i no sl is trying new things and some i agree with others i dont.
