| Hull wont regret anything. Why would they, they improved in 2010 over 2009 without him and we are playing him in a different position to where Hull had him.
Maybe Graeme himself realised that last year he was very lucky to get a SL contract and needed to prove his worth otherwise he wouldn't be full time employed in the sport he loves. So he has put the effort in to ensure he earned another contract and can continue his career.
Basically - there are loads of factors as to why he's changed. New coach, team, tactics, position, impetus.

The way he plays for us would not fit in the the style played by Hull. So it is probably better for all parties.
On Monday the way he broke through the Saints defence, drew his man and delivered a try scoring pass to broughy was impressive.

I don't think there is any regrets seeing Horne leave , We had to make whole sale changes to the team to freshen up a stagnant Hull team that's had two poor seasons .
He would never have played in front of Fitz , Radford ,Manu and Tickle in the backrow and had a numerous chances to stake a claim for a centre spot which he failed to do.
I'm pleased to hear Horne is doing well under Brown ,A coach most Hull fans would like here , but it wasn't that long ago there was quite a few Giants fans who didn't rate the kid.

I couldn't make the game on Monday but last season I saw nothing from him to suggest he's up to SL standard. I wasn't overjoyed when we signed him and my feelings haven't changed.

Thats about my take on him too...........he's ok as backup/3rd choice but is nowhere near upto the 1st 13 standard !

| I heard he did well at Saint Helens.
I think some consideration needs to be given to the fact that he has gone to play in a different position now playing prop. This season will be big one for him but he has shown a lot of commitment and effort and will only get better.

| I'm not denying his commitment or effort to the team - i have said he is handy to have as back up but in my opinion he isn't gonna be good enough to take one of the 1st teamers shirts.....others may disagree but thats only my view

| It would be nice to have a 30 player squad of international all stars. However.....
the reality is that the squad has to be subject to a salary cap (there may be a few clubs trying to circumvent this rule) so you need good utility players offering value for money. Moreso because the game is not so much a 17 man game over a 13 man game it is now a 'squad' competition.
I would imagine the utility value of Horne - what he offers us against cost - will be high. He offers cover at prop/back row/centre this helps re covering injuries or for a bit of player rotation/resting. This would certainly appear to be Nathan Brown's view and he gets it right most of the time. I thought the way nathan utilised Horne at saints was excellent.

Basically, after the Leeds away game he improved week on week. If only her started a week earlier!
