| Sam Morton, if the prices were a little more reasonable, then I'm sure you would get more through the door. £48 for a family of 4 to watch the match on a screen, and £124 to see 3 games is slightly on the steep side.

Seems more than reasonable bearing in mind it's for charity. Get all your family in an England shirt and you'll get 12 free pints too.

£12 for a full breakfast, big screen coverage in the ballroom with 3 huge 18ftx9ft England flags on the walls, a free drink if you wear an England or GB shirt, a free quiz with prizes, free entry to spend as much time as you like in the Heritage Centre and the chance to listen to and meet and have photos and autographs with some of the Great Britain Lions who are coming is very good value for money. If you are thinking of bringing your family to all three games, I am sure something can be arranged.

Thanks to the Giants for encouraging people to come along.

If anyone is interested I would ask you get in touch as soon as possible so we can give the hotel catering numbers and most importantly make sure there is enough beer on tap!!

| Wadski, I would not be able to drink due to me being the only driver. Also as my youngest is 3 and eldest is 7 then they would not eat £12's worth of food. I'd prefer charity events to be priced correctly and allow donations. For example a breakfast can cost around £4, the cost of a screen that is already there, is nothing, the Great Britain Lions who are attending are obviously doing it out of the goodness of their hearts, although I imagine will be given a free breakfast for attending. I think you'd get far more in, produce a raffle, quiz, or a donation bucket and say charge £6 so that people are putting a contribution towards the charity.

A bit less complaining and a bit more dialogue maybe more productive.

So far we have 60 people joining us for the game on Saturday. Guest speaker is Garry Schofield OBE, joint record test cap holder for Great Britain with 46 appearances. 'Schoey' was vice captain of the victorious 1990 tour to New Zealand, the last time a Great Britain side won a series overseas.
Can I urge as many of you who are thinking about coming along to book asap. You will have a great time, be able to put questions to Schoey and help us raise some money for Matthew White's dependants. Children can come along for just £6.00.

| Thank you to all who came along on Saturday morning. We had a very busy and succesful event that raised £500 for Matthew Smiths dependants.
Special guest Garry Schofield was very entertaining and generous with his donation of five limited edition signed and framed photos.
