so Giants haven't won at Knowsley Road since 1878. But how many times have they actually played there since then?
I seem to recall Giants (Barracudas ?) being in the old first division a couple of times in the 80's but certainly not every year.
Does any statto out there know ?

Ive been over a few times in cup games in ther 80's and 90's but we never won |

Not in the 80's i dont think , think it was 77/78 last time before Super League - better wait for our more 'senior' fans who may remember better

We won promotion in 76 so you are correct.
However, I cannot remember how long we remained in the 1st Division - was it only 1 season? |

Tonight made it 16 times since November 1978. You have had a few close games and a few dustings.
The first time I saw you at KR was in the 1968 Challenge Cup when you won 5-0 after scoring under the posts in the 1st minute
