| Just wondering what everyones thoughts were on the possibilty of us needing to look for a new centre given the sad goings on with Fatz? Not wanting to get rid of him but does who knows how long this predicament will last?
I dont think centre is one of our strongest positions anyway.
Will Browny look for someone like Griffin to step up if needed?

You must run your own buisness as i doubt you work in one of the 'Caring' professions.
Maybe a little early to discuss his demise yet. I would just rather wish him to get well soon.

| No, I dont want to get rid of him - I like everyone wish him all the best. Just wondering if we need to be looking out for someone in case of the worst.

| Given the amount of chat on RL here lately I don't think you can afford to be quite so choosy about what RL related discussion you should be dismissing TBH.
To cast aspersions on this posters profession because he dares to talk about a RL issue, which incidentally makes reference with some sympathy to Fatz' plight, is IMO out of order. If it was somehow supposed to make you some form of moral superior it failed majestically.
FWIW I would think that since we have Bruno, Jammer, Wildy, Gilmour, Fatz, Brown and young Griffin and also that Fatz may well be back that we wont sign anyone else unless it is somehow mutually decided we release Fatz.
I don't think there is anyone out there in the RL community that wishes Fatz anything but the best right now but as a question posed it should be open to discussion so long as it is handled with sensitivity. For both Fatz and the poster who tries to initiate a discussion on a quiet forum in the off-season.

| Id expect young Griff or Kirmond perhaps to strep into that spot if needs be.
When do the team return to training?

| Also agree, some of our second rowers can easily slot into , l think Kirkmond would make an excellent , as an ex winger, this lad can be anything he wants , my most improved player of the year.

the comment about caring professions was meant to be tongue in cheek.
I am also happy to leave it open for discussion which is why it was left open.
I personally would have felt happier waiting a couple of weeks till he got out of hospital and there was some announcement from the club.

| He might not be out of hospital for 12 months.
As for the rest of your post; I know you're a mod, I know you can lock topics. Does it make you any better or wiser than anyone else?
Give yourself a warning!

| I hope fatz gets well soon. I think centre is one of the positions that we are blessed with plenty of options though so don't think we would have recruit anybody if the worse came to the worse.

Kirmond would make a cracking centre.
