i agree totally with that, we basically thought the game was over at 24-6 and stopped working, although our goal line defenc was superb at times, we had given up by the midway point of the 2nd half which, along with benthams crazy decisions, gave you confidence which enabled the spirited fightback.
i think all in all rovers will see it as an unlikely, but very good point gained?

ATEOTD we should have been out of sight. Bentham or not, we should have been out of sight and the lads have only themselves to blame.

It's only our 3rd game of the year and that includes a 16 day break between our 1st and 2nd league game. Nothing too much to worry about with regards to dropping a point today as it's understandable by the fixtures we've had so far but something wants sorting about the refereeing by the RFL (the get worse as the years go by) and the way we turned up in the 2nd half wants addressing ASAP by Anderson and the coaching staff. We'll be there or there abouts come September/October and this will only be a minor blip in what should be another good season for us.

whilst we acknowledge the fact that bentham and his cronies were not good, lets also acknowledge that we made it hard for ourselves at times, the brough disallowed try for example, 3 men going for the same ball, was there a call from brough? he seemed to have a catch and put down until the others got in the way!

i think it was a case of our players were reluctant at times to get stuck in as we would probably have got pinged,it was one reason that allowed a way back for rovers for sure,as well as lax defending at the end and not been clinical enough with our attacks.
the refereeing display didnt alter the result of the game,but as a professional referee that performance shouldn't be acceptable.
of course we can say we should have won the game had we executed our plays and not got lazy, but then rovers had chances to take which they did, so credit to them for that

Really thought at half time we had it won - in first half we'd stood up well against your big forwards and against the wind too.

Unfortunately our players must have thought the same....think the points hkr scored second half were very well justified - and could have been more - I've a sore neck looking towards our try line for most of second half.

Disappointed in giants creativity and completion rate in second half. Don't know but thought we looked tired in second half too.

Think you guys have the potential to spoil a few parties this year.
