| Gaskell is a useful player to have on the pitch. If Russell, turner, Rankin get injured we move a second row to centre and we have another half/fullback.

| Is Sam Wood now seen as a second rower too? He's filling out pretty well, I really hope he gets his chance again soon,

| delighted Taii isnt playing, he always causes havoc.
We probably have our first choice pack playing - ( bar maybe lawler at 13) but we will have a centre playing wing and a 2nd row playing centre. I think your best chance would be to go round us and spread it wide.
I'm fairly confident it won't be 38-6 again

I think it’s Sam wood physicality that’s holding him back from a regular spot- every time they fill him out- he grows another 6 inches !!!! So back to square one

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_42181.jpg |

| We have been punching above our weight in recent weeks and got found out today, truth is we are not the 8th best team in the competition with current squad. Things are looking better for next year, but it's a case of battening down the hatches and preparing for middle 8's because Catalan will win more games than us from the remaining fixtures.

| Ive said it before and fans will take offence but players like Bruno, Rankin, Gaskell, Darnell & Murphy are all solid players and are not really good enough in their positions to be in a top 8 team...which other top 8 starting 17 would any of them get into?. Same could be said for Roberts but we all know he can play better. Feel bad including Murphy in that but we do need better if we are to progress.
Teams can literally go full length of the field in a set against us from their own sticks to make us drop out whereas we make around 30m in a set.
We do need to say goodbye to Hinchliffe now as well - not because hes a poor player but because we can strengthen further by releasing him.
I dont think any coach can sort this teams discipline out....that must have been a new record for penalties conceded by a team last night. We literally gave one away every 2/3 minutes.

| Cudjoe is is a penalty machine and way past his best. You seriously need to get rid.
I was unsure about last night and thought it was going to be a close game.
As for your winning run, who did you actual beat? You can't really claim Leeds as a big win because EVERYBODY is beating them at the moment (and I really hope they end up in the m8s, just to see a dramatic u-turn from Hetherington).
We're far from safe but, after a horrendous injury list for virtually the entire season, we have players coming back. We're not really looking at the league table as its partially out of our hands. Just getting back some form is all we can hope for.

I agree with most of that. Woolford knows it too though, if we had won last night we could probably have got away with sneaking into the top 8 beating Wakey in the last game, but we are far from the 8th best team in the competition and need a massive clearout of dead wood to have any hope of becoming competitive again. What's been good in recent weeks is that the players have really played with commitment and pride and that's let us beat a few teams who are much better than us on paper.
Players like Gaskell are killing us, eating up the cap and giving virtually nothing for that money, so many bad signings in the past are still bogging the club down, but there is a little light at the end of the tunnel in the off season this year, getting there is no foregone conclusion though as Toronto and Toulouse will be so hungry in the middle 8's.

| didnt make it to the match, intended too but hearing about the nightmare on the A63 decided against it
sounds like we didnt complete sets, knock on and penalties...one to forget
didnt really expect the win with the players we have out at moment still hurting us, too lightweight in the pack.. olly russell not let us down but goes to show the youngsters just cant back up performances week after week, getting brough back will help next week... as will getting taai back too then mamo the week after, important players.
still chance of top but need 3 wins and will be tough but again we have done well to get in this position from where we were

| A lot bagging Murphy but I thought he was your best player last night. Well he at least showed some hunger and defensively put a number of shots in. Didn’t know he had it in him.
Jordan turner ambled through the game, Rankin tried hard but look at Quinlans impact he was light years ahead. That young half back may have a future but I think that was a game or so too far.
Cudjoe and mcgilvary used to be a go to move, what happened? Cudjoe looks lost and mcgilvery was a shadow of the player we saw last week for England? Granted didn’t get much ball that probably doesn’t help.
Think a lot are nailing it from your fans point of view too many people just bang average in that team. Didn’t look like any X factor..
Thought o’brien Looked lively to be fair n all more so then Leeming
