I like Clarke but he can't help himself. After Goulding had kicked through & forced a Giants drop out Clarke described him as the most improved player in SL. Goulding typifies Wigan's dilemma at the moment - extremely average & lacking any attacking spark but fairly reliable. Long may it continue.

That sky team really are a joke! Was painting yesterday so put the phone on the docker and used the sky go app to put the derby on. Kept having a look but was just listening when up the ladders. Towards the end they were busy babbling on about some useless rubbish and a big cheer went up- hull had scored and they were so busy talking crap they missed it - and then said - oh and hull have scored!!!

I recorded the game but watched the highlights when I got home. Read reports about Luaki and thought I only saw him shoulder charge Lunt in the highlights. I eventually watched the full game and saw the stamp which sky only mentioned in the second half. So now watching the highlights again and the stamp is nowhere to be seen which is probably why I never saw it the first time, I wonder why?

You can hardly class something as a highlight when it comes from a lowlife!

Neither was it shown during the actual broadcast so I don't understand why you brought that up as it must've been fair as Grix checked his footing.

It was a clear and deliberate attempt at a stamp, no way you can defend that
If I was the Catalans boss I'd be writing a letter highlighting it as another example of bias

As for where Grix's feet were when he fielded the kick, no it didn't
Neither did it show that Charnley clearly fielded Broughs 40/20 from a dead ball position which meant it should have been an attacking scrum to the giants.

Grix's toes are on the line when he catches the ball, so it should have been tap to Wigan.

Watch it again, he was on the line, but the touchjudge was unsighted (players and an official (water carrier / physio)) in his line of site.
I noticed when Jon Wells commented about it being a good piece of play as I watched the recording after I got home. A friend of mine who sits in the East Stand directly in line with the incident said the same to me at the U19's game on Saturday. That was big turn around the Robinson forward pass and that try took the score from 12 - 12 to 12 - 20. Don't get me wrong Huddersfield were the better team, but sometimes you get those decisions for you and sometimes you don't.
I hope you go on and win the LLS it would be good for the game in general.

I was also sat in east stand in front of where grix took that ball. I commented at the time he'd got his feet spot on as Powell prepared to kick it. Perfect from grix, cannot be seen from sky cameras.
