I'm sorry but he is not what the club needs right now. If he had taken over after Brown, inheriting a club that still had good players and good habits, he could definitely have been a good choice. With the club in the situation it is right now, the last thing we need is someone from the institution that doesn't think much needs changing to turn us around. We need a coach who knows his own mind and is willing to shake things up right across the board, from shabby recruitment to arranging the kinds of deals that see 35 year old players who no longer have it and are orchestrating a losing side getting longer deals. It's make or break time, and going with the status quo is a one way ticket to the lower divisions.

Credit to Thorman for his honesty and giving the young ones a chance - we wouldnt have got to see English and the Seniors if Stone was here. However, if he is going to keep accommodating Gaskell then id rather him not get the job. Gaskell is absolutely dreadful.
