You should get in there lad, soak up a bit of 'pre-match' atmosphere. I say pre-match atmosphere because it's become increasingly common to die off as the game progresses.

I stand in the East stand with my children,every home game at Rovers and never see any trouble at all,BUT I can understand you(as an away fan) not wanting to buy tickets to stand among thousands of Rovers fans in the East stand,
but The Well area(underneath The Roger Millward stand) would be absolutely fine for you and your family to stand,
You may even be surprised at how friendly Rovers fans can be.

Maybe I could have explained myself better in that at the [imajority[/i of the KR and FC games I have been to I have either on the way into the ground or out of the ground had some idiot using foul and abusive language or threatening behaviour towards some member of my family or another Giants fan nearby. Given that i'm 39 and been to most of the Hull V Huddersfield games over the years then that accounts for a heck of a lot of people. The only other ground I can think of where I have seen any bother was about 20 years ago at Leigh when some drunk tried having a go at my Dad. This is what gives me the conception that most Hull people are of a different breed.

I have had no real problems with any KR fans but have seen enough idiots there ( as i have at a few other grounds)to think that taking a chance of going in with the KR fans is not worth the hassle.

If Rovers were to win it would be less of a concern than if the Giants win but still not worth he risk. I will have to save my money for the KC and pay their rip off prices.

when have you actually stood in the south stand because when we were in the the NL the only fans to stand in there were the wire fans in the cup so it wasnt then and since we have been in SL the only fans in there have been hull fans and an overspill of leeds fans and the odd rovers fan so when exactly was it . I know its a crap veiw but it will only be a one off next season should be very nice for you
