If what I was told was true Darnell will be starting at FB if he goes well in the preseason games which means there will only be one change when Mamo is fit.
If Gaskell were to drop to FB and then when Mamo returned moved to the centres there is too much chopping and changing - although if there is an injury to Brough or Brierley he will be first in line to cover the halves. |

He's not been 'overlooked' as such, he's been injured and has been in rehabilitation, if he recovers well he still has a future here but his development has been harmed by his injury.
Would imagine Darnell would get it to start with, if not then Gaskell to FB with Darnell at wing.

Saw Darnell in the trial vs Catalans last year,looked like a very good prospect when he was brought on at centre,but he was put on the right edge,what we need just now is a class left edge centre. |

Mamo and Wakeman both received their visas and will be here by the end of next weekend as confirmed by Chris Thorman today.
Great news as Wakeman will now get 3 weeks training with the boys before the first game at Widnes and will feature in the Warrington friendly too hopefully.
