I'm looking forward to this game!!'"
Yeah the lads just need to respect possesion, turn the ball over in good territory and force a mistake with aggressive tackling and fast like speed! Give em nowt!!

| I'm just hoping we put in the effort- I'm coming home from camping specially to watch this one- then going back to the tent tomorrow- if the giants put in the same amount of effort we have to attend I'll be happy regardless win or lose.

Couldn't agree more. Win lose or draw, as long as the effort is there then I'll be happy. Carry that on through the season and the results will come.

| Bailey MoM for me. Jerry showed great minerals given he's clearly not fit.
Not sure what Wane is on about with his Radio Manchester quotes regarding ruck speed seeing Wigan were the ones slowing us down and we only really started to get anywhere when we got quicker PTB's but he does like to make veiled comments in amongst dishing out his credit as we know.
We still started poorly though. Larne, Eorl & Bailey coming on changed the tempo of the game. Larne brought energy and Bailey drew in defenders and things opened up. Far from perfect but we looked far more up for it than last week.

| Agree Bailey had a top game but he was on from the start. I thought all four subs went well and was great to see Robinson back at hooker. Also great to see LWrence back and playing 80 minutes and I think sky said he made nearly 50 tackles

| Yes, Bailey moved from a 2nd row playing 13 type role to a 6/13 when Robbo went off IIRC. Played very smart and defended well when called upon. Thought Bruno did very well apart from a couple of silly penalties. By no means a perfect performance but something to build on.

| Sorry, my bad. But it was like he was a sub as all of a sudden he was more involved.
Bailey 6 and Brough 7 for me....

| Delighted to be proved wrong! I said I fully expected to be beaten and when I saw the starting line up I feared the worst even more!
I know we started slowly again but I still thought be we better for the first 20mins that at any time in the last few weeks and when it went to 12-0 instead of collapsing, which would have been very easy to do after the Saints debacle, we really stepped up as a team. I'm really proud of that performance - I know it doesn't mean all our problems are solved and I'm really not interested in whether it was a game to far for Wigan's youngsters or not - I'm just delighted at our attitude and response.
One minor gripe - why on Earth have we decided to no longer compete offensively or defensively for high balls?
