This is the whole point....if Spartacus Hoyle is such a dyed in the wool Terrier then where was he when the club was going down the drain?

It was Ken Davy who took the risk and saved the club when someone had to step forward. And these individuals are maligning Davy now? Unbelieveable.

He had the funds too back in 2003 but he wanted to make his millions selling cheap cards and watch his beloved club fail!

One thing of note he's told this lot not to let it get personal, yet that website has not one line of positive or gratitude towards Ken Davy, it's vile and inaccurate and puts the man down at every opportunity. Though he said if he was just still just a fan he'd have been wearing the tshirt last night, but I feel what he's saying is just to please those who are behind him I mean he's not going to let his guard down and allow them to turn on him like they did Davy!! He's also told them to leave it and give everyone space!

So all that's happened is a load of blocked drains around the Leeds Road area, and a self made sports philanthropist has been maligned and slandered by a load of neanderthals.

Surely on that site and that forum where if anyone says anything slightly in favour of ken or the giants they are cut down with a torrent of personal abuse there is a case for libel or defimation of character or something...there not exactly holding back on the abuse are they........

So......a few football fans looking like stewards while watching their team will have done the trick and turned ken's head now ??

i really think we should go all out and give ken davy huge support at the warrington game,maybe get a banner saying how we are grateful or something?
watching the town game last night i thought it was all rather pathetic, there was more empty seats scattered around than t-shirts and half the people who wore them looked like they didnt have a clue what they were about, yet amazingly enough the actual crowd was over 14,000!! how on earth do they get that figure beats me

oh and town were very lucky as well to get the 3 points,they were 2nd best to brentford for most of the game and only got back into because of a very dodgy referee

Couldn't agree more with this sentiment. It's about time Sir Ken saw that many Huddersfield people are right behind him and are grateful for what he's done for our town.

to be fair i think it's mainly the ones from out of town that are stirring all the hatred up, from the posts i've read on certain forums mirfield,batley,cleckheckmondsedge seem to be the choice of location for these antagonists, im sure most people in huddersfield are grateful for what ken has done, i think reading some posts a lot of people have it in for davy cos of the merger thing 12 years ago rather than anything to do with the shares.

I agree. I meant that Hudds people should show that we're on Ken's side. I know quite a few Terriers' supporters who are really annoyed at how Davy has been attacked & how it has reflected badly on Town.

I would go more along the lines of "Ken Davy - The saviour of professional sport in Huddersfield".
