Yes Neil Fox was player coach, and Malcolm Branch scored quite a few tries off his amazing passes, they seemed to hold in flight until Branch ran on to them at pace, and he took some stopping out wide.
It is a pity we did not have Foxy earlier in his career.

David Jeanes & Steve Lyons were a fearsome 2nd row! They;d easily get into today's team even though they were at the end of their careers.

Fleary played for one saeson and was ok but well past his best. I would say Jim Gannon was more effective for us than Fleary during the early years back in super league.

yep 2 seasons between 2003 and 2005 then some sort of coaching later
