| Quote: The Chair Maker "Outstanding team effort from Hudds today.
Your defence is phenomenal, and if you put in a performance like that against Wire you could come out with a record wembley victory.
Looks like the sleeping giant may have awoken, and one of the games great clubs will be rejoining the top table again.'"
Hmmmm.... right as far as Hudds are concerned, interesting that a Saints fan can't bring himself quite to the level of acknowledging Warrington's just deserts in reaching the final..............

| Not sure what happened with the crowd numbers today.
I was one of several, ie lots of Saints fans that were shown to the stand behind the sticks with the majority of Giants fans.
We had some quality banter, the odd disagreement but a superb day out!
Gutted we lost but can acknowledge when we have been outdone on the day!
Well done Huddersfield.

| Delighted for the long-suffering Giants fans who stood by them when they were propping up Super League for so long.
You turned yourselves around by firstly appointing Tony Smith - how sweet that he opposes you in the final - and have kicked on since releasing boring Jon Sharp and getting in another innovative Aussie.
It will be a great final and I sense a first Cup win since 1953 for the Fartowners. Absolutely magnificent today, on attack and especially defence.
Congratulations and enjoy your big day.

Monitoring outside for the people inside: |
|
| I'm made up that two teams are in the final whose fans and players are genuinly glad to be at Wembley.
I've seen Bulls fans come out after a semi win looking like they are going to the dentists, and I've heard Saints and Wigan fans (some time ago) saying they weren't watching their team at wembley "cos we went last year".
I'm sure this week will be full of press articles saying "its the final no-one wanted" or "unfashionable teams". But I'm glad for once its teams who have few glory-hunters, no big shot chairman with influence in the RL hierarchy, no prima-donnas.
I'm not aware of any animosity between the two sets of fans and I'm sure whoever wins will be congratulated by the other set.
WELL DONE GIANTS.

| Some of your lot have been a total pain on our MB this year, and one or two need to grow up.
But no way will their silly antics get in the way of me saying hearty congratulations and very well done!
Looks like Ken Davy's long slog has finally paid off for you guys. Very much hope now that you go on to win it. Will be no more than you fully deserve.

1898.gif Now, about those ghosts. I'm sure they're here and I'm not half so alarmed at meeting up with any of them as I am at having to meet the live nuts I have to see every day.

| Well done Giants. No complaints, we were beaten by a much better team. This final is what rl needed. Just make sure you beat the Wire. Good luck.
