Lloret is good in the fact that the beer is half the price and the Fenals is a decent hotel but i think perpignan is good for soaking up the atmosphere

our dates are the 12th to 15th, gone up to £97 now. skyscanner or ryanair, suggest skyscanner as ryanair can't count up the interest in the flights and adjust price to suit them.

There's no direct flights on that date that's why....if you're just looking to go for the game there are flights direct 1st thing saturday morning returning Sunday evening for about £80

Choo choo train to Manchester followed by a direct flight to Carcassonne on the Friday (13/1/16) (Ryan Air - £70 /person but currently going up sharpish!). Return flight on the Monday.
Hire car to Perpignan courtesy of Mally & Jimmy - hopefully they'll be sober because I won't be!.
Will be 'soaking up the atmosphere' with a medium rare steak for tea accompanied by several beers & bouteilles de vin blanc!!
