Big Eorl and Koppy on the whole have been very poor and to be honest a few weeks rest might do them both the world of good, they're getting a place in the team on reputation and not on perfomances, same with Leroy, he looks tired, jaded and not half the player he was last season, give him a rest (kick up the ) players need it from time to time. Add to this Robbo looks injured Broughy needs to get his head sorted to concencentrate on playing instead of pressing the self destruct button and getting involved in stupid arguments he can't win. Last but not least at the moment I don't think Wood brings a lot to the show, I don't think he's good enough for a place be it in the team or on the bench, but that's just my opinion. I think it's fairly easy to see why we're struggling this season, the recent 5 win streak was mainly (Cas apart) against poor opposition who to be honest if we listen to the "experts" we should have buried, but we didn't and the victories didn't even paper over the cracks, we looked poor for large parts of all those games, our pack struggled our defence stuttered and our attack blew hot and cold throughout, don't think them 5 wins fooled too many people. Play like we have been doing against Wigan on Thurs and then at Lids the following week and we could well be on the wrong end of 2 cricket scores.  |

I don't think anyone would complain but coaches tend to give younger players with little super league experience little game time. Let them adjust gradually. Plus Broughton is one of our strongest players pound for pound.. He has unbelievable speed and he didn't do anything wrong when he got injured.
McGillvary hadn't done anything wrong.. And Murphy is as safe as houses too.
Our options are superb. If Blackmore doesn't get more game time this season after the saints showing I'll he disappointed but for Wigan.. I'd play him if Broughton and McGillvary aren't fit enough to play. |

This post almost echoes my thoughts.
I agree with most of it apart from I think Koppy is slowly improving so more game time the better.
And I'm personally a fan of Wood and think he's been playing well. I think this season he's been pretty good at half back. Maybe starting him there could help him improve and bench Robbo to come into hooker or halves or wherever he's needed.

robinson IS injured. still playing though.

Finally Andersons grown a pair and dropped some one out of form hopefully more players to come, still think he's a if your face fits type of coach. Players need to earn the right to wear the claret and gold and not just get a place on reputation don't think it can do any good for squad harmony players coming straight back into a side like Ferres did hes a great player but Ta'ai took his chance while he was banned and I think Ferres should have had to wait his time could also say the same about Lunty.

According to Giants website earlier this aft Mullally was in the 19. Now been replaced by Johnson. |

I dont really rate ta'ai or koppy much, ta'ai's ball handling is poor and koppy seems quite lazy and soft in defence for his size the forwards need to start being more aggressive both in defence and attack otherwise we wont be winning anything anytime soon

we will know in the first set we need to get into there faces with good line speed from all 13 and run the ball in with speed and aggression if we start like last week we will be trouble getting bet by a very under strength sts then wigan to me is unexceptionable
