Quote GiantDee="GiantDee"Salford (40%), Bradford (25%), =#FF0000Saints (22%) and London (21%) have all lost a greater proportion of crowds than we have (19%) and our lost numbers are pretty concerning. Could be misleading though, a lot of Bradford's previous numbers were not actually in the ground!!? I wonder what the true loss there is and are they actually taking in more through higher prices?
It is not good at all, Wigan and Catalans both also have significant drops (10 & 12%)'"
It is disappointing, but you have to look at these figures in context.
We were always looking at a fall considering it was our first season at the new ground last season. However, there are other reasons: stadium issues and, probably the biggest factor, our form.
Also have to factor in:
- A very low crowd for a game that should have been called off due to the snow.
- We only got 14k for the Wigan game (which was disappointing) and we probably lost 2-3k because it was played on a Monday night.
- We also have yet to play Warrington at home.
