Fully deserved, i called this when he left us, I'm devastated we offered Gaskell twice as much as we did to Jake, shows our ineptitude.
He might not get a game this time, but he will do one day and when he does he will cause problems. Can't wait to see him pull on an England shirt

Pleased for him yes. Yet another kick in the teeth to our club from hull who have paid nothing towards his many years of development by bending the rules.
Current rules state £175 per week of development plus 5k -We should have been able to claim a good few thousand from them - instead they offered Connor a bit of it and kept the rest. What a pleasant way to do business.
All because his birthday wasn’t in, say, March.

Good business then, as with Gaskell having Thewlis’s Buddy as his Agent, he was was sacked off by Jake so this was the problem . Which Player is best value then ????

jake connor was laxy in training and paul anderson got fed up with him and they fell out so jake went and spoke to hull fc
anderson then got the sack and jake wanted to stay with giants but a deal had already been done with hull and he couldnt get out of it, would have had to buy him out of the deal he signed at that time

Sorry jools, Hull did nothing wrong, it was your administration at the time who were naive at best. It’s rubbish when your younger players are purloined as a fan, but ultimately management makes these decisions, lay the blame were it belongs.

Did nothing wrong? I suppose that depends on your morals.
Is that in the same way that Wigan did nothing wrong to avoid relegation, or in the same way that Starbucks does nothing wrong to avoid paying tax in the uk.
You avoided paying us the money we were entitled to for his development - and were only able to do so because he happened to have a birthday when he did.
If you did nothing wrong then the RFL wouldn’t have made you pay us something on the quiet like they did. But if you want to feel better about the underhand way your club dealt with the issue then you just carry on insisting they did nothing wrong.

They then tried to fob Mason off and were found to have done so in court.
