| following on from the all time super league top 10 thread, i thought i would have a bit of fun, give us your top 5 players in each position -from the time you have watched fartown/giants, obviously if you have only been a supporter for a few years then just put how many you can remember. its not who you thought was the best but your favourite for whatever reasons.
lets see how many different names we can come up with

Having selected those, there are plenty more that could make it. Including our present team which is outstanding in every position.

Yet their brave bid came to a stunning end when Cudjoe stepped out of the defensive line to intercept a pass and then run away for a 90-metre effort. (Times 2)

| I was a big Neil Harmon fan so he'd probably make it into my top 5 list. It's good looking back at some of the players picked who have played for us through the good and bad times. I'd forgotten some of the players mentioned in Meast and Daz's post as I started watching Fartown at a similar time to them and have never even heard of some of the players on Golcar and Scorpio's selections.
Good thread.

Yes Neil Fox was player coach, and Malcolm Branch scored quite a few tries off his amazing passes, they seemed to hold in flight until Branch ran on to them at pace, and he took some stopping out wide.
It is a pity we did not have Foxy earlier in his career.

| David Jeanes & Steve Lyons were a fearsome 2nd row! They;d easily get into today's team even though they were at the end of their careers.

Fleary played for one saeson and was ok but well past his best. I would say Jim Gannon was more effective for us than Fleary during the early years back in super league.
