Goodness me no. No offence to murph But with murph at the back teams will easily defend against us. He can do a job there in a crisis but no way in this game is he a fullback.

The club are doing themselves no favours, they want fans to buy into the club yet they continue to ignore the needs of the fans, l apprieciate they cannot name names, if ongoing negotiations are taking place, but the least they could do is say they are in talks and signings will be made. l am always optimistic, but i need something to be optimistic about, l have stated previously l think we need a couple of quality signings, not just to boost the squad , but to also boost ST sales. The club cannot complain that interest from the public has dropped off, when they don,t appear to have any interest in keeping us informed, l don,t expect names, but l need to know things are happening, we are looking light, and time is getting short, my optimism will start waning, and so will the stayaway fans.

Spot on it's called PR ! Something Thewlis has never heard of. As you say the word should be that signings are on the way. Nice that Eorl is now pushing tickets but he needs something to sell! If we at 4K now we have just halved last years income 2 decent signings and keep offer open till opening game might put 2k on hopefully Eorl hasn't got a magic wand in 2 weeks!

No I'm not ! I'm not saying 2 signings will do that but what def won't work is no PR no signings then stopping selling them before xmas and then doubling the price

Perhaps- but what you CAN say is no signings certainly will sell less than signings!

Unless we announce something late this week or early next week I personally cannot see us getting anyone in now and ready to play till after the season has started.

If there is trouble with visas...passports its all going to be a long winded process now, especially with how slow things can go over the Christmas and New Year period. Getting players in 2 weeks before our first game is not ideal at all.

I think we will end up selling around 4500 season tickets and that is it. At them prices we should be hitting 6-7k no problem.

if they havent already bought a season ticket by the deadline then i doubt they would be interested in rugby league in huddersfield anyway and more likley off to watch the football club instead
