Interesting times. With Clough,Ferguson,Smith,Murphy,Mason, Ellis, Ormsby in the wings just off the top of my head. Taken a few flyers in the above; not sure where Gaskell fits, although undoubtedly talented. I've taken a punt that he gets the full back slot. Not including Eorl, JJ or Joe. Regardless, adding in the Bradford 3 and the more likely Of the Newcastle 2, and the squad starts to look quite deep.

regarding fitness levels Andy spoke of coaches attitudes to the way they want a team to look, some look at size and body mass others more on agility. Baloo being a front row, wanted big players, Andy said players will be back in training earl, some very early, so its a no brainer what the team will look like next year

Agree with you on those positions. Murphy and Ormsby are just squad players for me now if we want to progress. Let Murphy train as a centre and Ormsby for the wing instead of being utility's. I'm not so sure Gaskell etc have signed. If they had what would be the hold up to announce now? Unless we are waiting to announce the better players first so fans don't get underwhelmed with the signings of championship players.

im still happy with murphy as a winger, scores plenty of tries and runs the ball back hard like jerry... not had the best of seasons but who has!

bookies rank us around 8th place for winning the grand final in 2017 and at 20/1. wont be having any of my money but 8th is better than this seasons 12th!

After the season we've had I wouldn't be underwhelmed with championship players. The signings are good signings if they come.
Being a point away from the million pound game and having such injuries at the start of last season we need all the players we can get! Being picky isn't an option.
Class players don't come cheap, we can't just take any player we want. We aren't a club currently attractive enough.
We start again in 2017 and build from the bottom. Past sucsesses are history.
