Was speaking to one of the players at the weekend and he said that the players do read the forum but have to take the comments with a pinch of salt as one minute they are getting praised to the hilt then they get slammed.
It's state of mind weekend this weekend, and this is designed to help people overcome all sorts of difficulties and pressures, we inadvertently put stuff on forum's like this, thinking we're helping with our comments, its not always the case.
Opinions are opinions, everyone thinks they know better than the next man, who the best team is, think they can do the job better than the coach, when in truth the majority don't, whilst players and coaches read stuff and say they try to ignore, it would be really difficult to in my opinion.
I'm not sure if any poster on here could read praise or criticise on forums about themselves and not take some credence to it.
Just my opinion BTW

Worst performance probably wire in the challenge cup!
Best performance either Leeds in the cup/saints first game of season or Wigan away! If had to pick then Leeds in the cup

Yes, really. We were dire, they were just so much worse. Of all the performances that one worried me the most. it was reminiscent of Widnes at home last year or London the year before, games where we posted big scores but never looked convincing. Fortunately the one thing the players have shown this year is resilience and they have bounced back from every rough patch.
