I too would hate to see LOD go, no way have we seen the best of him, but there may well be some truth in it, it says that Tom Symonds is part of the deal coming here, stand off!!!

LE reckons it's something to do with an offshore account - "League Express understands that a significant proportion of his salary is paid into an offshore account in order to lessen his exposure to British taxation. But new regulations mean that he will be unable to access the funds in the account until the age of 55. That has persuaded him to try to cut short his contract to return to Australia" - make of that what you will. Agree with others above that an early resolution to this is essential - in best interest of LOD and club not to see this become an ongoing saga.

Personally will be sad to see LOD go as we have not really seen the best of him over an extended run of games - but if he does go I will wish him well and be grateful for the time he has been with the Giants.

If he does go will be interesting to see if a replacement is soiught immediately or whether PA will choose to bide his time for the right player to become available.

Why would we want Robbo back at hooker. Great game last Saturday with Broughy. Totally outplayed the Saints half backs.

He'll be missed no doubt,solid tackler,and keeps the legs driving at collision time.Very hard to bring to ground bit like Jamie Peacock.Played a vital role on Saturday.

Hope he sticks around but have to just wait & see now.

Luke O Donnell did not want to return to England during the pre season

Some may say O Donnell did not look like a player wanting to leave on Saturday, however.....

From what i have been told by a friend of mine in Sydney they have told him if they are to make a offer for him they want to see him play 2/3 games and show he is fit after the surgery

I don't expect him to be a Giants player by the end of this month

Some would say he should be dropped straight away if he wants out, however i disagree - hell be wanting to prove he is fit so will be putting in some good performances in and this then gives Anderson chance to look for a replacement and gives Ukuma Ta'ai chance to settle in
